| Groomer Clip Shylohs Tongue I brought Shyloh to the groomers and they clipped a corner of her tongue off. What now. I called and the owner is suppose to call me. I had big hopes for Shyloh, can you show a dog if part of their tongue is nicked off. It's very noticable. What do I tell the owner! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Oh my GOSH, poor baby - that must have been so painful for her!! Did you call her vet too? I'd call the vet to find out if you should do anything. I'd be so furious!

| Could be that poor baby was being cut around her chest area and she was probably licking at the scissors or something. I keep hearing all these horror stories with groomers. I hope her baby will be ok.

| That is awful! Poor baby. I hope that there is something that you can do. and I hope that the groomers will take responsibility. Did they even tell you about it or did you have to find out for yourself?

| These little babies are such wiggle worms. I know Kayla will grab for a brush, scissors, anything I have grooming her. Thats terrible that had to happen, poor little thing. I just don't use groomers. Its been along time since I groomed but I remember alot and I just do mine myself. Hope she gets to feeling better, thats bound to have hurt so much. |

| Well the groomer did exactly what I thought she would do, IT DID NOT HAPPEN HERE! She said she was going through the videos to see if she could find where it could have happened, she said it would have bled all over if they did that. I said "Great I'll be waiting to see the video". Can I still show her with this, it is very noticable? My vet said she will be okay and no risk of infection. Just that it was probably very painful. Not sure how to pursue this and all the groomer did was give me her name. She is a very established groomer in Katy Tx, People just don't take responsiblility for their actions any longer, it's so sad. This has been a rough week for my babies. |

| Oh I would be so upset. I haven't went to a groomers for a long time. Its so hard to get one you can trust anymore. I just don't think its worth the risk. Its easier to train yourself how to do it. I can't imagine how bad that hurt. Is she okay or not eating? I would think it would hurt to eat or lick.
