| Hi Susie I'm not sure if you will get a response. Only because there doesn't seem to be very many Canadians on this site. At least I know I haven't run into anyone from the Toronto area anyway. Sorry I am not much help. But I noticed that nobody had posted anything for you yet, and didn't want to leave you hangin'. I am from Windsor, it's nice to see another Canadian on here. Good luck in finding a vet. Maybe you can ask your breeder, if they live around you, or you might be able to call up some othr breeders just to get their opinion. Just a shot in the dark.

| Welcome to Yorkie talk and congratulations on your baby, Moen. I would also call some small dog breeders in your area and see who they recommend. I would do telephone interviews asking about the doctor;s experience with small breed dogs, what kind of anestheasia they use on small dogs, how many people assisting with surgeries, state of the art equipment or not, whether they give the lepto vaccine or give more than one vaccine at the time? The answers to those questions would help me make a decsion and then I would actually make an appointment for a free consutltation to meet the doctor and the staff and tour the office before making an appontment for services. | Hi, I'm in Oakville and looking for a new vet also. It seems my current one is just about the $$$ too. I'm not sure of any downtown though, but I am probably going to take her to one in Caledon..its far but they are really good and the breeder that I got Sadie from swears by them. I don't think there are many people from the Toronto area on here... I'm still looking in to vets around the GTA so if I find a good one I'll let you know! good luck!

| I live in downtown Toronto as well and my vet works in Downtown Animal Hospital. I don't know if you are still looking for a new vet but I can give you his name and phone number. |
