| slow neuter recovery Last Friday morning Georgie had an appointment to be neutered, microchiped and he had two baby teeth extracted. I was under the impression that he would bounce back quickly, I thought he would be running around like his usual self and I would have to keep him calm and resting. Instead he has hardly moved, he just lays next to me all day, sleeping and trying to lick himself. If i set him on the floor to see how he's walking he tries to crawl back up my leg or he runs for the couch with his tail between his legs. He is eating and drinking normally but only because I bring it over to him. Monday when the vet called to check on Georgie I told them how he was acting and they perscribed him some pain medication. Now it's Tuesday evening and he is still not active at all...Is this unusual? I'm very worried. |

| Maybe is the medication...Mojo gets like that when he is on it. When he got neutered, it was early in the morning, late at night he was already back to his old self. I hope he gets better real soon!! |

| Poor Georgie! I don't exactly know what they do to little boys when they are neutered but when Toto was spayed it took her a couple of days to seem fully awake. After that she pretty much bounced back ... she did act like somebody had hurt her feelings! Tell Georgie that Toto sends him sweet Puppy Kisses and we hope he will be back to normal soon!!

| Thank you all for your encouraging words and well wishes! It's a week after his surgery now and just this morning he's been back to his old ways, tearing through the house like a little tornado! I'm soo relieved! |
