| I really don't know about eating them fresh, but I know that soy is definitely not a recommended ingredient in their food.

| Soy is one of the top three allergy causing ingredients in dogs (corn and wheat are the other two), so I'd really watch for signs of a reaction. Otherwise I'd think it is fine to feed them as a lot of dog food contains soy. |
