| Raw?? Anyone feed RAW or Prey Model? I have seen so many things that sound wonderful about the two I would love more info on it Would you suggest RAW and perhaps Honest Kitchen every other day to make sure they are getting what they need?

| I feed Jamie Nature's Variety Raw everyday but I believe that you can easily rotate it with the NV kibble.

| I feed the Natures variety raw and my girls love it!!! I tired the Honest Kitchen....and they seemed to love the small trial packages I bought, but when I got the big packages, they wouldn't eat it. I have ice cream bucket full of the stuff and they won't touch it even mixed with something else. I do put a small amount in their food when I home cook for them, but just a little. I personally feel there is too much alfalpha in it, it smells like wet hay when I mix it up. Anyway, which ever route you go, be it NV, HK or prey model, start out small so that you know if your dog will eat it and not waste alot of money like I did. |

| Yes!!!! Hi! I feed prey model and a few other's here do, too! Here's a thread on prey model; http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...odel-diet.html If you have any questions you can post them there if you'd like. But to quickly answer your question; RAW is commonly referred to as BARF which is home made or store bought ground ingredients formed into nuggets or patties. Brands like NV, Primal etc are used by many members here. Honest Kitchen is a dehydrated form of raw and then there's prey model which is feeding whole pieces of meaty bones among other things....
