DISCONTINUED: Children's Grape Chewable Benadryl

I have been to about 15 stores to find Children's Grape Chewable Benadryl (for Roxy's allergies) and was only able to find ONE box, that was obviously misplaced...

So, I have called the company to find out that YES Children's Grape Chewable Benadryl is DISCONTINUED

You should be able to find chewable generic brands out there. I think each store has their own version. It is all the same thing. They may have different flavors though. Also, the liquid should work the same way, though not as convenient.

hmmm...I have yet to 'notice' a store brand...I have been to all my food stores in the area, CVS, Rite Aid, Target and Walmart...

Ok, I will look for the generic.

I have the liquid, but it's so difficult to get Roxy to take it

Wonder why they discontinued it? Hope that nothing was wrong with this product, for heaven's sake.

I just checked & have 6 tabs left. Bella doesn't like any pills too much, but I give her the regular ones because they are smaller. I would be glad to send these to you if you want, to get you through for a while.

No, nothing was wrong, just technology...They now have dissolvable strips.

I might call the Vet and ask if a 1/2 a one of those strips is ok

Ahhh...how sweet! That's ok. I do have 1 full box and I am going to call the Vet and ask about the 'new' children's dissolvable strips

You can go to Walgreens or CVS, they can now add flavor to your favorite children syrup medicine, (about 2.00)

I will check at my Walmart and buy all they have or... if that is a restricted item all they will let me have.

Another thought.... if it is DISCONTINUED then you might find this item at a Dollar Tree or a Odd Lot/Big Lot Store.

Oh my, Stella HATES the liquid I did a Google search for "chewable Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride" and Benadryl brand was the only one that came up....

Didnt they discontinue baby tylenol and things like that awhile back because parents were misusing it?

This is CRAZY - I literally went to 15 stores and finally found 1 box at Target.

My Mom is gonna check her Walmart in AZ for me!

This sucks....I wasn't exactly keen on the 'grape' flavoring, but the tablets were so easy to crush and mix into Roxy's food.

IDK...maybe those dissolve strips will be ok, I just gotta ask my Vet first

ooooohhh....if I mixed into Bella's food, she could tell - not gonna happen! But I hate they discontinued since it worked out so great for Roxy. It will be very interesting about the dissovable strips! Hope this is the answer for our babies!! Thx for the info!!
