| What fruit is safe? My yorkie loves banana, whenver he sees us peeling one he will not leave us alone until we give him some. Is it ok to give it to him and how much? Also what other fruit is ok for them? |

| Bananas are great, mine love all fruits - the only fruit, I can really think of that is a no-no, as it is poisonous to dogs are grapes - and raisins. Mine also love veggies - especially carrots and snow peas or pea pods, green beans too Here's a great thread - it's a stick at the top of this Health & Diet forum - be sure to read it http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...oods-dogs.html

As too your question as to how much?? I only give her a little at a time because she would eat as much as I gave her and I didn't ever want her to get an upset tummy. She's been on a special diet so it's been some time for her having those treats. (we're working on allergies with her)

| Keoki loves all fruit!!!! Plums, nectarines, peaches, apples, blueberries and veggies- in tiny amounts - definitely stay away from grapes, raisins, and seeds. |

| Food Allergies This is a great chart...should download and save it for reference. What do you do with giving fruits and/or veggies to dogs with food allergies?
