| Luxating Patellas Hello, I have a 12 week old puppy that just got a vet check, and the vet said that one knee was loose. She couldn't get it to go out of socket or anything. Both of the parents checked out fine before they were bred, and this breeding won't be repeated. She said she didn't know of any studies had been done tracking cases like this in young puppies to see if it turned into a luxating patella, and couldn't really tell me if it would get worse. She said it may tighten up on it's own. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience in any cases like this. Whitney |

| Well, a long time ago I had a little chihuahua that the vet told me the same thing about one of her knees. Nothing ever happened and she was fine for the rest of her life and never had any problem jumping or anything at all.
