| Frontline vs. Frontline Plus??? I went to the vet saying I wanted to buy "Frontline Plus", and he told me that Fronline plus takes longer to dry, smells stronger...so he practically threw "Frontline" on me. I wonder why that is??? I figured "frontline plus" would be better, but i guess if "Fronline" works it's fine with me. It seemed to be pretty scentless and dried quick....should I switch to the "plus"??? |

| As far as I know the difference is that the Plus kills eggs and larva and the regular just kills mature fleas. I have only used the Plus so I can't compare scent and wetness. If what you are using works, I'd stick with it, otherwise you could give the Plus a try.

| I use the "plus" and am very happy with it. I also treat the lawn with a season long product and I never see a flea, tick, or earmite. I switched to the plus based on my vets recommendation. |

| season long product for lawn Hello, can you tell me what "season long" product you use on your lawn? We just moved to an acreage this past May, and we were infested with ticks, even though the dogs had been treated with Frontline Plus monthly before and after we moved here. They would come in on the dogs and then the ticks would be crawling on us! We would also get ticks just from going out in the yard. We're hoping that removal of a lot of vegetation near the house will help, but it makes me dread tick season next year just the same! Thanks so much for any help - I'm not a regular on the forum, but I was doing a search on Frontline vs. Frontline Plus and came upon this thread. I have a 2 yr. old Yorkie, Bitsy and an Italian Greyhound, Pal (4 yrs. old). Brenda |

| I've only used the plus on mine and it seems to be working for us. My neighborhood is about 5 years old and had lots of vegetation so it was is very important to treat for ticks and fleas. We have a company come out and spray 3 x a year.
