| Epsilon WAS going to get neutered today... ... but he THREW-UP during his check up!!!! I'm sooooo glad he did! It doesn't make any sense to me though... I took away his food at 8:15 last night. It was definitely dog food that he was throwing up, which is sooo weird. We rescheduled for Tuesday and she said to take his food away at 5p this time I was already extremely scared about this... now I'm even more scared! Oh... and he lost weight!!! Only 2 oz.. but that's a lot! The vet said he looks great though, he's not too skinny. I was just hoping he was going to reach 3 pounds! Now he's 2 pounds 12 ounces. When he got his rabies shot a couple months ago he was 2 pounds 14 ounces. |

| oh ok...then he still has a chance to get over 3 pounds......i dont know about vet there but alot of vets in my area wont spay/neuter them below 3 pounds anyway because of the risks with anesthesia....i dont know if he is marking yet...but in my opinioni would wait till he is a little bigger.....if he is starting to mark use bellybands till he gets a little bigger....this is just my opinion...sorry little man is sick at his tummy...do you think it could have just been the car ride there?

| My baby was spayed when she was 2.9 lbs, and she did fine There are many tiny yorkies on here that have been spayed/neutered or had some type of surgery at around this size.

| I have a really wonderful vet and I trust her a lot. The problem is that I'm moving in a couple weeks and I don't trust other another vet. I'm going to spend a lot of time researching to find a good vet. I want to have her do it before I move. She has done a lot of tiny dogs and not one has died in her care. He started lifting his leg about a month ago. No marking in the house though. |

| SOOOOO, I think I know why he threw-up. I found a Ferret last night and took him in cuz I couldn't stand seeing him outside all alone. Well, I got some cat food from the neighbor to feed him, and I think he kicked some out of the cage and Epsilon ate it. There was probably just enough kibble on the ground this morning to upset him and he got to it. My husband woke up first this morning and was the one to let the dogs out, and of course he wasn't paying attention. But that's my theory. You can find out more about Mr. Ferret here http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/off...d-ferrett.html |
