How old is Abby? I have found that the older mine get the less they eat so maybe it isn't that she's picky but just growing. The puppies are all about 9 months old now and they don't eat near as much as they did when they were younger.

Are you sure she doesn't have any symptoms after eating?
Yorkies can be picky but I'm concerned about this long battle with food.
Something doesn't seem right.

Could you list all the foods you've tried besides Wellness?
She won't eat canned?

Routine blood work may not show a liver functioning problem until it is 70% damaged. Maybe she is just extrememly picky but usually they will go for people food. How much are you expecting her to eat a day?

ughhh to be honest i have no idea. i feed her 3 times a day. i' ve been meaning to ask ppl if they wud show me wat 1/4 of a cup of food looks like. i don't have a measuring cup so i have no clue. put it this way, she will go thru a whole can of wellness in about 5-6 days (sometimes less sometimes more) i dont really know i guess i will have to buy a measuring cup. i also noticed that on her merricks puppy plate kibble, she will only eat the veggies n not the kibble !!!! but then if i try to give her boiled or fresh veggies she turns her nose at them. ughh she is so unbelievably picky. wat do u suggest i do?

A 1/4 cup measuring cup is somewhere around an inch high and two inches across.

I think I would do the bile acid test because food is such an issue.
If that comes back clear I guess you will have to force feed or let her go hungry if she doesn't eat what you put down.
I do not like this method (letting them go hungry) at all for puppies and if she is little there could be some risk to it (if she is prone to hypoglycemia or throwing up bile).
Actually, if it were Ellie I would settle on a homecooked (or canned) food that I know she doesn't absolutely hate and blend it really small. This is especially important for homecooking because they will pick out what they don't like if you don't. Then I would force feed the mixture. This would have to be done very carefully though and you can avoid it if you want to go with the other method of refrigerating it and bringing it out every few hours and offering it.

I have a picky one too...she drove me crazy for the first few months...You mentioned Merrick....I use the puppy plate wet canned food and she loves it...at first she ate it no problem...then she would lick up all the gravy and leave the tiny chunks of meat. carrots and peas...so now I put the whole can in a blender and mix it up....it comes like a paste ....she loves it...I give her 2 TBS 3 times a day and she has been doing well...with that and she has been eating this for 7 weeks straight now!! MIRACLE....she never eats one type that long!! Knock on wood!
I make a major deal of this meal time too!! I call this "din din" and she knows when I am getting it for her...and she gets so excited. Then as I give it to her I always say "din din" so now I guess she thinks it's special too! LOL
She also had a dry kibble available all day and some days she eats it and some days she does not....
Good luck...I know it's frustrating....

Yes, 1/4 cup is maybe slightly less than inch high and two inches across I would say.

She should eat more wet food than if she ate dry.

A can of pop is 12 ounces.
A cup is 8 fluid ounces.
So a can of pop is 1 and 1/2 cups.
So 1/4 cup is 1/6 of a can of pop.

Make sense?
This could be different for dry measure though.
