| Reflux? Hi all I'm not sure if my puppy is experience gastroesophageal reflux or not. She makes this pseudo cough type sound, then swallows, its not a true cough as her mouth is closed. Sometimes she will just swallow, like a hard audible swallow for no reason (hadn't just eaten, drank or had a treat). She doesn't seem to be in any pain (not arching, etc.) Does anyone have any thoughts? I go to the vet next week for her last round of puppy shots, but thought I would see if anyone has any ideas or suggestions. Thanks!!

| I'm not sure about that one. Talk to your vet about it, but hopefully someone on here can share her experience as well.

| That's what Madison does too, and the vet told me it was reflux, or "reverse sneezing"/snuffling...but is due to his gastrointestinal issues. He's on Pepcid A/C 1/2 tab a day now....I'm not sure that it's gotten a whole lot better, but at least he's not vomiting anymore. Definitely bring it up to your vet though when you see her/him.
