| Solid Gold I started feeding my Yorkie Solid Gold the other day and she LOVES it. So I was wondering if anyone here has tried it and if you have any reviews about it.

| This is what I've fed Amelia since the day I brought her home. We do the treats and the food. After all of the Pet Food Recalls, I wanted something I was sure would be safe. Solid Gold was one of the 7 brands not affected. Rosie was on crap food, and since she's been here, she will not touch what she was on before. She goes straight for the Solid Gold Wee Bit every time. I was worried her little tummy might get upset from the change in diet, but so far, nothing. She has some spots on her skin that are visible through the coat that I'm positive a healthier diet will change. I will say that Amelia's coat & coloring is super shiney & healthy. I know my neighbor feeds her mini dogs crap food, too - and the difference between the 3 is noticeable. I give her the Just a Wee bit, but I've been thinking about switching to the Barking at the Moon type, as it's supposed to be much healthier and more protein based. On DogFoodAnalysis.com, Wee Bit, as well as all of the other Solid Gold types, are listed as a 4 star foods; whereas, the Barking At the Moon is listed as a 6 star.

| I just switched Franklin to Solid Gold from California Natural because I wanted a food of the same quality but easier to find. Maggie has been on Solid Gold since we got her. It's a great food with lots of good reviews but it personally has not worked for us and I will probably be switching once this bag is out. Franklin's poops have gotten bigger, stinkier and more often. He only wants to eat Maggie's food (Just a Wee Bits) and Maggie only wants to eat his food ( Hundchen Flocken Puppy). It's been a mess. I just don't like it. I'm glad to hear it does work for other people, though and I hope it works for you!

| I have three girls and they are all on Solid Gold. I think it is a GREAT food (and is very highly rated). We have never had any problems with it at all, AND they have super shiny coats!!! Just my opinion. |

YT 3000 Club Member | chester has been on solid gold for awhile, he has been on wee bits, the beef millenia, and the lamb one we tried merricks wilderness blend, he likes it but the fiber is less, and that will make a difference with anal glands etc. good stuff customer service is great, I have called for questions. |

| I was thinking of switching my 7 month old, 4lbs yorkie to Hundchen Flocken but I find its kibble a bit large. I'm afraid she'll choke on it or something. Any thoughts?

Thor's Human Donating Member | I recently started Thor on Solid Gold Wee Bits and he loveLoveLOVES it. I also noticed that he's pooping a lot more frequently, though it's not stinkier - in fact, it's more solid than I would like, so I've been giving him a couple tablespoons of veggies in addition to the kibble. Thor is a super-fussy eater, so the fact that he likes Solid Gold far outweighs the extra veggies I need to add. Just my solid gold two cents. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Solid Gold does make a small kibble. We've tried the Wee Bits for my foster kids and have had no problems. Petco does sell Solid Gold and that makes it easier for new parents to continue feeding the same food, as there are Petcos everywhere anymore.
