| Novel Protein Diet After two days of diarrhea and about 15 vomiting episodes, my vet is opting to put Tahoe on a "Novel Protein Diet". Has anyone ever heard of this? What is your experience with it, if any? ~ Kelly

| my guess is that he is going to choose an "exotic" protien like venison or duck or rabbit. Chances are your baby would not be allergic to a protien like one of those as oppposed to beef or chicken which many pups are allergic to. You might also want to try a fish as a protien. good luck! |

| Tahoe is not a pup. He's 15. Does that make a difference?

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali is on a movel protein diet for her scratching. Like Marcella said it is a protein that is not common. I chose lamb but I am thinking of switching to salmon. I use California Natural.
