| Colitis Tylosin Heard this helps Yorkies; I pulled the information off the web & gave it to my vet who ordered it & Murphy's been on it for over a week. It has helped somewhat. [the vet had tried everything & I had even cooked rice/turkey as it helped my other yorkie; vet even did a protoscope.] Do others keep their yorkies on Tylosin capsules for Colitis indefinitely - or do you use it like an antibiotic & stop after 10 days? |

The Vet said that Tylan is EXTREMELY SAFE and even if it had to be forever, it was ok. One of his own dogs had to be on Tylan Powder for life. Even though TJ hasn't been on Tylan in over a year and a half, the Vet said there is a chance that he may have to go back on it, but at least we know it works for him. Let me know if you have any questions, I'll try to help you | |
