| Do you keep your yorkie in shape? Hey what's up, I'm new to this forum and just wanted to see if anyone else here has gotten their yorkie in peak physical condition like I have. I jog 3 miles with my yorkie mon-wed-fri-sun and after our jog we both do sprints(Took some time to train him for that)and then I have him do 100 jumps in a row. Tue-Thur-Sat I have him pull a small custom weighted sled across a school field for around an hour. Don't worry I always keep him nice and hydrated and well fed. This little yorkie is a monster, he can take on both of my cats with no prob. How about you guys, do you have a training regimen? Last edited by El_YorkoFuerte; 07-28-2005 at 11:03 AM. my nieghbors would really think I flipped my lid if I drove to the mailbox. Its mounted to the side of the house. As for keeping Preslee in shape, I dont have to. Memphis and Recon do that for me. | |

| I tried to take Olivia on her first walk the other day. It didn't go too well- every plush lawn we passed she layed right down to rest. In her defense she's still a puppy, but I guess she has to get a hang of the fact that sitting kind of defeats the purpose of the walk! |

Ha-ha! The first walk I took Kacee on was wild! First, she was running like crazy to the left and then she was running like crazy to the right! It was all I could do to keep from tripping over her! | |

| I also thought it was a joke when I read it. I think it's excessive exercise for a yorkie too. I would be concerned with their little joints, mainly knees and back, wearing out. |
