| Hi Welcome to Yorkietalk! My 6 month old Winston does that like almost every night. He sleeps by my head so I always hear it rumbling! He doesn't have any tummy problems though so I guess it is just his food digesting!

| Lola also sleeps near my head and when she wakes up I hear the gurgling in her tummy...it happens when she eaither just ate and the food is digesting, or she is very hungry and wants me to get her some breakfast!!!

| Hot Rod's stomach gurgles too. Before he eats, after he eats, doesn't matter when.

| Tummy gurgling Well, I sure got a lot of replies on this one and I feel better that a lot of other Yorkies seem to have the same thing. I wasn't sure if it was something that I should have checked or what. My oldest Yorkie is almost 12 and his stomach rumbles a lot. My youngest Yorkie also has the same thing. My female Yorkie doesn't do that, her tummy is quiet. I want to thank everyone for your information. It is really nice to share and chat on our favorite breed, the Yorkie. sincerely, Liz |

| Otis's was bad when he was younger. I had to be very strict with his diet. ONly his kibble and nothing else, or he would get bad gurgles. It's gotten a little better in the last year or so.

| My little guy's tummy is always rumbling and grumbling and he's fine. It's just the way he is. He also lets out a huge burp right after eating (then looks proud of himself) and lays SBDs near me all the time (Silent But Deadly) that are enough to clear a room. I call him my little stinker. |

| Archie has had this all his life (he's two). I asked the vet about it and he said that, unless he is vomitting or having diarhea (sp?), he wouldn't worry about it. Yorkies have kind of weird little digestive systems sometimes, so I'm chalking it up to that. He seems fine otherwise.
