| Good/Painful vet visit My poor girl had her rabies vaccine today. That vaccine just knocks her right out. She even had some meds before hand to help with the reaction. She is so tired and sore... BUT we dont' have to get it done for 3 years and here is the GREAT news! Layla needed to loose weight. On April 1st she weighed 7 lbs and the vet said she needed to loose 1 lb.. and now.... She is 6.4 !!!!!! we are SO excited!!!! I was SO happy... i was worried that getting her to loose weight would be difficult but with the nice weather we have been having it has been a piece of cake. |

| I know what you mean. Those vaccines sure do put em down for the count. What absolutely baffles me is that they give the same amount of rabies vaccine to a 2 lb dog as they do a 200 lb dog. That seems so crazy. I was totally shocked when I saw the suringe with so much vaccine in it and the tech informed me that all dogs get the same amount of rabies vaccine. Knocked my pup out for a long time......sure glad he doesn't have to have it again for another 3 yrs.

| How funny! Epsilon is just under 3lbs and got his first rabies shot last Friday... he was just as hyper as normal, lol. In fact, we even went to the park to chase birds with his sister Ally and that didn't even put him out, lol. Grats with the weight loss! |
