| Feeds Hiya! As I said in another thread..... when I cook our dinners I cook a little extra veg for Tink and add this is small amount to her meat pouches, she loves the veg more than she love the meat! I have to give her veg or she is so hard she has trouble going for No 2's I am feeding her twice a day now, at 19 weeks, is twice a day ok at 19 weeks? I have real trouble getting her to eat then, she is a very fuzzy eater and I worry she is not getting enough, and yet she is not thin, she now weighs 5lb 12oz (at 19 wks) I try different flavours and maybe give scramble egg for her first meal as a change. I do leave dry kibble (biscuit) down for her too, but she never touches this. Am I worrying over nothing? Thanks for any help.

| Welcome to YT! It's great that you're feeding Tink some extra veggies-I bet she loves them, and they're great for her in moderation. My dogs like zucchini, carrots, peas, green peppers, spinach, lettuce, and lots of others too. Just remember that onions & garlic, among other things are NOT good for our yorkies, and can make them very ill. Scrambled eggs are wonderful for them too-just remember no salt or seasoning on them. My two like their eggs with a little shredded cheddar, or a little cottage cheese on top. Twice a day feedings sound great-I feed my two twice daily too. For smaller/younger dogs, sometimes 3-5x daily is what they need. Since your Tink is already 5 lbs, she is probably out of the woods where you'd need to watch her for hypoglycemic episodes.
