| Help! 2nd Rabies shot due and last one..... The last one last year[her first one] left a lump and it is still there! Now a year later and she is scheduled this week to get her next one,and I am wondering should I get her another one this year or is having a lump left behind for a year a sign of a problem? I understand that she needs another one as a booster for the first one, and then she is good for 3 years.Should I? Also they want to give her the Leptovax4 vaccine and my Bischon had some what of a reaction to it last year, so I don't think I want her to have that one either. Is it necessary to get them? Am I making the right decisions here? We live in Ohio and they are outside only in our fenced in yard. |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | I would suggest you ask the vet being as she has a left over lump from the first rabies vaccine. That shouldn't be there. A lot of pups get a bump at the site and it tends to go away. I would be concerned that she still has that lump a year later.

| I would not have the Lepto done.. Layla did not have it this year... because she had SUCH a bad reaction to it this year. As for the rabies bump... does your vet know about this... a year is a LONG time... i would FOR SURE have it looked at. |
