| Nyla bone for pup? Hi everyone, I had a quick question: im getting a 12 week pup on Friday and have been going crazy buying treats, chew toys, clothes etc etc.. The store owner urged me to get Nyla Bone Natural Health Edible in bacon flavor. I thought i had read somewhere NOT to give your yorkie pup raw hide and when i checked the ingredients it say it contains sterilized raw hide. It is safe to give my baby an edible chew toy? Or should i stick to the soft training treats i got him? Thank you! |

| If you are looking for a good (safe) chew toy try Antlerz. Or marrow bones. Search them (at the top) search button. It will bring up the threads for each.

| I give mine the rawhide sticks or bully sticks but only when I am around and when they chew it down to about 2" I take it and throw it away. I've never had a problem with them. Mine never liked nylabones.

| I personally had a friend whose dog choked when chewing on a nyla bone and ever since then I don't take the rish and give my dog one. That's just a personal experience.
