| Maxi is in surgery today! Hello All, I dropped my little Maxi off at the Vet's this morning so she can get spayed and get 2 hernias removed, as well. I think the idea of a tiny little puppy going into surgery is so cute. Hopefully, all goes well and she will be free of hernias once and for all.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | GOOD LUCK !! I don't know about surgery being cute ...I think I'd be a nervous wreck.....but I hope everything goes smoothly and she's home before you miss her too much - think of how good she'll feel without dealing with hernias...ouch ! |

| Thanks! Thanks Everyone! I just got a call from the Vet's office and they said she was finished with her surgery and that she is very well. I will be able to pick her up after work, maybe sooner if she is barking too much. I will be thinking of all your yorkies as well! Thanks again for the support.

| Mini will get spayed Thursday I'm a new yorkie owner. My Mini is almost 7 months old and will be spayed on Thursday. I am so afraid because she only weighs 2 pounds 5 ounces. The vet that I have chosen, after much research, to do the surgery, has successfully operated on a goldfish. I think she is the best around here. She has put me to as much ease as possible. I just wanted you guys to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I appreciate all the help I've gotten from this forum. You are a great bunch of yorkie owners. P.S. I also have a Chihuahua named Tequi, short for Tequila. She is 2 1/2 years old. I got her right after my husband died in February 2003 so she has been with me through the toughest two years of my life. Mini is now an added bonus to our home. She is so cute. I'll post pictures...... |
