| loud tummy noises Ok,Leo had this before and it was a mild case of hook worms before he started his worming medicine. this morning his stool was normal but he doesnt want to eat his breakfast and his stomach is making really LOUD noises but he looks ok.He is playing around and energetic.should i just wait and see until i call his vet? i gave him his worming meds april 1st for the hookworms he was given meds,it was one pill. |

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | id take in a stool sample you shouldnt have to have an appy for this. They run about 20 bucks is all. If you suspect worms better to be safe than sorry!! Hope that helps!

| oh my god,how can he have worms again? i just spoke to his vet.she said to bring in his stool sample which im going to to do but they are only open until 12 and i dont think i can make it but they is an er that i can take him to.i gave him some of his fave treats and he ate some of it and he just started eating his food,thats a great sign.She said if he doesnt eat anything then take him to the er. the tummy noises stopped,thank god. i was so worried i cried.i dont like him to be in pain im glad he is ok.Im so happy i have a great vet. I will keep you all updated |

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | well, i dont think its always 100% that meds get rid of the worms the first time. I have heard of many cases where it takes a few treatments to get rid of them all. Not saying your baby has worms again at all....its just not uncommon for this to happen. I know coccidia almost always takes a few treatments it also hids in cultures giving a false negative. Id do the stool sample when you can just to be sure! Good luck!
