| Fruits/Veggies ? Hi all just wondering do you feed your babies raw veggies or fruits ? I just can't resist those puppy eyes when I have snacks ....but I'm afraid some things may not be good for them. Is there a website that I can refer too ? |

| I started teaching Remi to "come" by calling his name and giving his a piece of baby peeled carrot as a treat. To this day he loves his carrots and also loves to eat raw broccoli as well! |

| Franklin LOVES apples and bananas. Here is a list that Ellie May posted a while ago. I'll see if I can find it. This is also a helpful resource: When Good Dogs Eat Bad Things

| My boys LOVE apples, baby carrots, bananas, and watermelon! It also encourages me to munch on some healthy snacks too! Just becareful to not give too much because they can get the runny poop.

| Hi, I have looked into alot of books in regards to this subject!! My 4 yorkies have all different types of tastes. One loves a carrot the other does not! I made a list of healthy fruit and veggies that i began giving my dogs to try. Apples, blueberries, bannana, peach etc. the vegetables were a bit tougher: green beans, peas, carrots and spinach to name a few. One of my dogs could not tolerate any type of processed "treats" or cereal I gave her. I began a new "hobbie" of baking nutritional treats. I did alot of researched. Used nothing processed only whole grain flours and grains. Had excellent results. I make blueberry, banana, apple-nut, peach to name a few of the fruit type bones Veggies inclued the famous spinach, carrots, peanut butter, a nut and grain bone, green bean, chicken/beef broth bones. I get really excited about making new receipes and I have excellent taste testers. I am now making monthly batches for friends, neighbors and family! They last in a cookie jar for quiet a long time (ours NEVER last long). We also freeze them also! If interested in trying some: E-Mail me at dvweez@sbcglobal.net MOM The favorite is spinach (believe it or not) |
