| same o same o questions..... but.... I'm too frustrated with the new YT to spend the time doing all the hoopla at this time. As some know, I got Murphy just over a month ago. He's about 4 1/2 months now. We went to the vet Saturday and he's 7lbs 12 ozs. oye!! I've been free feeding since he's a puppy. Now my questions. How long do I need to do this? Alphy has plumped up to 10lbs. Murphy will not eat the puppy food and wants Alphys food so I mixed them and free feed both. Will the puppy food hurt Alphy? When can I switch Murphy to adult food?? I should know all this but I'm drawing blanks. Sorry. I also would like to go back to schedule feeding but don't want to risk hurting Murphy. Alphy was used to it. Morning and evening feeding is what I did. Also, anyone want to take a guess on how big Murpy will end up? I was hoping he'd be Alphy size but ....... p.s. what does it mean to add a tag to my thread? I don't think I like the new YT... too advanced/technical for me.

| What about trying a dog food that's for "all life stages?" I know Merrick's is..and Canidae is as well. The puppy food might fatten Alphy up a bit..

| What food are you feeding both your dogs now? I agree an all stages of life food would be the best. It will not hurt your adults dogs to eat some puppy food. The most important thing is to feed a quality dog food, one that is meat based and not grain based. Dog food with too many grains will pack the pounds on faster because the food is not satisfying to the dog and they just eat more. |

| I am using Blue Buffalo puppy food and Kirland lamb & rice (which has the same ingredients and ratings and Dick Van Patten food - just 1/2 the cost).

| Those are both good dogs foods. I just checked out the Kirkland's dog food and it does look like it has good ingredients. Do your dogs like it? Where do you get it and how much does it cost....just curious. I can't believe how much dog food has gone up. I know it is because of the price of gas. I am paying a little over $38 for a 40 lb bag of Canidae but on top of that it costs me $10 in gas to drive and get it. |

| go to costco.com and see if they ship, or try the locations and see if there is one by you. My folks live in Murphy and they shop at one. I tried to put in Warren Tx per your thingy and it says you are like 280 miles from my folks. I put it in the costco location thing and got one in Warren, Tyler, Texas and Warren City, Gregg Texas and a couple others?????
