| Did you know that cheese causes pancreas cancer This weekend I watched a show on dogs and their health a Vet was on and she showed all the foods and explained which each food cause damage to dogs & cats and discovered that cheese can cause pancreas cancer, once again, she specified that garlic is dangerous, so I don’t get it why does dog & cat food have garlic in it, if feeding the dogs overtime food with garlic won’t it eventually cause damage. Well I will not give Chelsea any more cheese, and I’m sure I heard cottage cheese too.

| Thanks for the info. I notice that a lot of dog food home cooking recipes have garlic in them. I don't get it either.

| Cheese and garlic in moderation isn't going to cause any major health problems. I've never had a dog of my own or a foster with pancreatic cancer or anyother health problem and I'm big on giving a little cheese as a reward or snack. |
