| bullysticks work great & help keep the teeth clean. Also, I like Dogswell products they are treats, but they have chews like the chicken breast & my dogs love the Sweet Potato Chews www.dogswell.com

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | I like the dogswell treats. I am a bit hesitant with the bullies now. Can't remember but someone's baby recently got pretty sick. Seems that bacteria starts to form on the bully after several hours of it being chewed on and it can cause some issues. Recently I gave Zoey her first one and she got sick with some sort of tummy virus. I am unsure if it was from that or maybe some parasite she picked up outside as we had several days of rain. So to be on the safe side I am no longer giving her the bullies. Good luck and hollar if you find something safe.

| The Dogswell treats are made in China. I have Bully Sticks in a few different sizes and Sam's Yams sweet potato treats on my website. www.barkaholics.biz I have some other puzzle toys too that are like Kongs (you put treats in them) but are different shapes just to make it more fun!

| Any chew can obstruct or get stuck in the throat and any animal product can have bacteria in it. I don't give any of it anymore because even when Ellie is supervised, once I see her bite a piece off, it is half way down her throat already. Maybe bully sticks would be different but after Diggy4's story, I'd be very cautious. After one hour of letting a dog chew on one and get it soggy, it would be in the trash. I just avoid it all and give raw vegetables under supervision. These sweet potato chews do look interesting though.
