My little Shadow Donating YT Member | After Bath w/Dawn & MinkSheen Why were her itching be worse immediately after bath. I bathed her in 50/50 Dawn/Wtr. Rinsed well. Then bathed in MinkSheen. Rinsed well. After being towel dried and held in blanket, she is itching and biting consistently. Biting alot on her paws and legs?? Any ideas? Thx!

| It sounds like allergies. Especially the biting of the paws. The dawn is good for killing fleas but is very drying to the skin and coat

| It could be what you use to wash your towels and blankets in, Lily has a skin reaction to Tide and Downy just a thought. Did you give her a bath because she was itching and now it is worse?

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | Yes, that's exactly why. She was itching miserably, so I thought IF there were fleas, this would fix it. But I haven't seen any fleas? She is due for a follow-up Vet appt soon.

| Also, another thought..... she might have had a flea or two and it/they bit her and now she is itching because of a flea allergy. There are some dogs that actually have an allergy to them so that if they get bit, they will itch like crazy - more so than other dogs. You may not even see a flea on her anymore. Your vet should be able to tell you more though..... Good luck! It's miserable to see these babies itch like that, isn't it?
