| Teeth Cleaning...getting nervous I made appointments last week for my four to get their teeth cleaning done. I was fine....until now. I'm beginning to get a little nervous, even though I know they will be fine. They've had it done before. Monday I take Gidget and Fancy in. Fancy also needs two canine's pulled. Tuesday I take Emilee and Joey in. I can take two at a time and they will put them next to each other so they will have each other till I pick them up. Sure wish it was over already.

| Oh I know just how you feel. Two weeks ago I had my two boys in for dental. I put them in the same little kennel so they have each other too. And their blankies. I'm lucky that my vets understand me and how much I love my babies. But I'm on pins and needles all day long till they call. It sure makes a person nervous. |

| Oh I know. I take their blankets in too (glad I'm not the only one)..lol. My Vet and everyone there know I go crazy when they are not with me so they are good about calling me just as soon as they are wide awake so I can get them home sooner. I just wish my nerves would calm down, I've still got a couple days to go..

| Took the two girls in this morning. I know everything will be alright, but I hate this shaky/nervous feeling. Gidget just stared at me and Fancy was trying to hang on to me. I can't stand leaving them, glad it's only once a year.

YT Addict | I took Teddy in just about a week ago... maybe a little less. It was traumatizing for me, to say the least. He wasn't his little peppy, energetic self til yesterday. And I took him in on thursday. He then had a slight fever and we had to take him to the emergency vet. But now, everything looks fine. It's not fun to do. Luckily my vet has given my OrvaGel (or something similar sounding) to rub across his gums so plaque and tartar won't build up, so I won't have to repeat this experience again for at least a good while.

| Both girls did just great with their teeth cleaning. Fancy did have to have two canines pulled, but she's a trooper and doesn't act like it bothers her at all. She's back to her old self. Gidget on the other hand is being a b*t*ch! Everytime one of the other girls walks by her too slow, she starts growling and we've had to hurry and separate because a fight would have started. Has anyone else had this problem? I brought them home around 1:00 PM this afternoon so they are not still groggy. I sure hope she isn't this way tomorrow. The girls always get along so this is very disturbing. Tomorrow will be Joey and Emilee's dental, another nervous day.

| I'm glad all went well today. People can have bad headaches from anesthesia after surgery so I wonder if animals can too. I brought that up to my vet one time and he said I honestly couldn't tell you. But hey you never know, so maybe your little girl is just crabby from it. Or kinda ticked at Mommy. LOL. I'm sure she'll be her old self tomorrow. |
