| dental vaccine? i just got a note in the mail stating that my girl is due to have her first dental vaccine... what is that for? i have never heard of a dental vaccine, is this necessary?

| Did your note give a name for the vaccine? I've never heard of it either but I'd like to ask the girl's dentist at our next visit. |

| I do not like and would not give this vaccine. It's just another way to fill our dogs with drugs. Their teeth need to be brushed and taken care of. I don't think we should be vaccinating against this and this vaccine is still being studied. It is new and I do not like it.

| I understand vaccine reminders and even maybe sending out info on a new vaccine...but sending out something telling you your dog automatically needs it? All vaccines should be discussed before given. I hate how dogs are so overvaccinated I don't believe in giving vaccines for unneccessary things. I understand parvo, distemper, and rabies..those are fatal, infectious diseases...but not a dental vaccine. It's much better to educate a client on the importance of teeth brushing and dental care instead of just sticking the dog with another unneccessary vaccine

| i totally agree with all you guys. i had never heard of this before.. i don't understand why people would try and vaccinate for healthier teeth.. it's our responsilbility as owners to care for our babies teeth properly.. brushing, cleaning.. thanks for your input!!
