| You might also try a little Gerbers Chicken Meat baby food. If my dogs get a little weak stomach I mix 1 tablespoon Chicken baby food (just the meat, not with any veggies, etc) with 2 tablespoons plain white rice. This gives them a little nutrition while their system settles. Later I mix a little kibble with the rice/chicken. My dogs will eat this when they won't eat anything else. It is so bland that most of it is digested and absorbed -- doesn't create a lot of poo, but is gentle on the system. Also, you might try wrapping your little baby in some fleece or other soft small blanket. Hold her close and carry her around with you. This could relieve some of her anxiety so she can settle and eat a little. Ditto on all the advice about Nutri-Cal or Karo syrup. Good luck...

| and i tried Science Diet canned food for puppies,, and Cricket would eat it up!!! still a tiny bit at a time,, but she'd eat it,, i had no problems with the other girls feeding,, and now we're all on Merricks kibble and occasional Merrick canned for breakfast ;-) Best of Luck, and yes,, NutriCal I think you always need on hand if you have a Yorkie to love! was a real life saver for us with Cricket more than once!
