| Carrots?? Hi everyone, my babies LOVE carrots. I was wondering how many would be too much to allow them to eat? Right now I chop up those baby carrots into smaller pieces and I'd say they each end up eating about one carrot. Do you think they could eat more or would it maybe upset the belly? I do allow Snoot to have more but he weighs between 13-14 lbs. and I figure he can handle a little more. Thanks for the help.

| My two love their veggies too...I give them pieces of baby carrots too, and now and then a whole regular (organic) carrot to chew on. I think that occasionally 2 baby carrots apiece should be ok. Have you tried giving them snap peas, pieces of lettuce, cucumber, or peppers too? Watching them eat lettuce is a bit entertaining

| Peppers and broccoli can cause intestinal gas in humans and the last thing I want my furbabies doing is making a smell---more than normal, that is. I don't feed peas too often because they are starchy and have sugar. My two seniors struggle with their weight anyway, so why push it. Mushed green beans are my choice of veggie for their meals and they love them. Another way to try them is frozen.

For peas, my two like raw sugar snap peas, and they LOVE frozen green peas. Try 'em-since they're small, they can have a few, and the yorkies think they're getting several treats

| Mine love cooked carrots and green beans! They flip out when I bring them out. I tried peas too and they liked them but not nearly as much as the carrots and green beans. I don't feed them human food often, but when I do it's like the clouds part and they are in heaven! |

| Go to the thread "Bad Food List", Tricksie loves peas, carrots, green beans and potatoes but this list doesn't agree with giving them.
