| my yorkie wont eat! its down to the final stages. i know its typical for yorkies not to eat ( or so i hear ), but im desperate! he's now sporting white gums, and he only eats roughtly a tablespoon a day. yorkies are supposed to be hyper, and all he does it stare at his food and sleep. he wont touch toys, and he only eats the different type of foods one day. yesterday he (for some reason) at 2 tblspns of cosco brand senior dog food, and then 3 hourse later he wouldnt touch it, and wouldnt eat for the rest of the night. hes 14 weeks old, and i could count his bones! we just got him, and hes sneezes alot. and he just started drinnking regularly today. he pukes up force fed food, and we're at our wits end! my mom wants to give him up, and im so worried! the vet says it could be worms, and hes getting a blood test on tuesday. i dont wanna lose my baby! please help *by the way, he gets diarhea when he eats chicken, and so we dont give him that anymore. |

| This sounds very complicated. The vet sounds like your best bet. Have you contacted the breeder and found out what they were feeding him? Has he been tested for coccida, parvo, worms...etc...? |

| I would strongly suggest/tell you to take your little to the vets ASAP. Not eating & his white gums can be very dangerous for him. Please do not wait until Tuesday. It may be to late by then. Please let us know how he is doing. |

| Every one who has posted already has given you the best advice...Get to the vet NOW!...White gums is a sign of hypoglycemia, this is a VERY serious situation......puppies must eat or they can get low blood sugar, it's very important....I hope he's alright......Please report back on what the vet said......
