| How often should you bathed them I have been bathing my yorkie every week, but sometimes he gets really smelly in the middle of the week. He goes out so that doesn't help keep him smelly nice. I was just wondering how often can you wash them? |

| Milo gets a bath about every six weeks when he gets groomed, he only gets bathed at home if he is really dirty. Are you sure the smell is not coming from either his ears or his mouth? It is not good to bath a yorkie every week there skin will become very dry. I use a product called between baths that you can get in Petsmart, I use the powder fresh scent, it is amazing, one spritz and good smelling pup. Also you might want to look into what you are feeding him, just like us everything that comes in goes out, ever stand next to someone that ate way to much onions or garlic "YuK", if the smell persist I would him to the vet, a dog should not smell that bad that quickly. I hope you figure out what to do, maybe this will help. |

| How often you bath depends a lot of your Yorkies coat and whether or not he is allowed to go outside. Some Yorkies need weekly bathes and some can go weeks without one. What are you feeding him? Dogs fed poor quality diets have a tendency to smell more. |

| what about wipe downs? Those who don't wash their babies for weeks do you wipe them down ever so often? I wipe Tia down everyday; she can get abit smelly on her belly area esp when she has been to the toilet. I have been bathing her more than I should; I think I need to invest in a better shampoo as after she has been bathed she still smells abit. I think the shampoo is too mild |

| I've been giving Izzie a bath every 2 wks, I bought the puppy wipes to use but I've only used that twice. When she is a little older I may go to 2 times a month like I do with Tobey. I use to bathe Tobey once a wk and his skin got real dry once I stop his skin got better but even after he still would bite his skin, so I think the type of food you feed also plays a role. Like someone said they also sell a spray you can use to make them smell better.

| Lexie usually gets one about every 2 weeks, but Tucker is a little smellier and is still potty training so sometimes he'll have to have one twice a week . He was left in his crate a lot when he was a puppy by his original owner so he doesn't understand that he shouldn't potty in there so we're working on it, but it's a challenge so he has to get bathed more often. He doesn't mind it though, sometimes I think he gets dirty just so he gets to play in the water We've never had any dry skin issues with him though. Maybe it's because of the moisturizing oatmeal shampoo we use. |

| Boomer gets a bath twice a week. He eats high quality food and is very healthy. He goes out to potty with his big sister and comes in smelling like a stinky, sweaty little boy Of course it's already warm here. He sleeps with his head on my shoulder every night, so he's gotta be clean
