| swollen or a lump Buttons has a swollen place or a lumpy type place on her neck, kind of where she received her last puppy shot and rabies shot on Saturday. Do you think this is from the shot or should I be worried. I just felt it today.

| Bailey got that on her last round of shots - not sure which shot caused it? I called the vet and she put a note in Bailey's file for future reference. The bump didn't hurt or ooze or anything. It disappeared after 'bout 10 days. Its a good idea to let the vet know.

| My pup had a lump on his neck when I got him, from the breeder's shot they gave him and when I took him to the vet it was infected and they had to lancet it and puss came out. The vet also then gave me an antibiotic to give him. You might just want to call your vet so that they know this happened just in case. This mainly happens when a non sterile needle is used, or some of the plastic/rubber stuff on the vial will get on the needle then accidentally get injected. | This happened to my pup, after driving for 4 plus hous to pick her up, and driving half the way home I felt this lump on her neck near the back. I panicked, feared the worse. Got her to the Vet the next day, it was just an irritation from where she got her shots. All turned out 100% A OK. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Just happened to me with Pixie. I took her back to the vet to check and they said it was where she just had her rabies shot. I felt better having them check it out and they said they don't charge to check it out,
