| Lepto Precautions I was thinking, since the Lepto vaccine is such a controversial vaccine, I think we need have a thread (maybe even a sticky) that states ways we can protect our babies from it. I know there are rarely cases of it, but since so many of us haven't vaccinated for it, what are the precautions we need to take while outside?

| I think it would be great to have a sticky on vaccinations in general. In my opinion too many breeders and vets are vaccinating puppies way too young and they are vaccinating against things that are totally unnecessary. I don't start vaccinating my pups until they are 10 weeks old but that is just what my vet recommends. I feel that any vaccinations before 8 weeks is a waste of money and puts unnecessary stress on a puppies immune system. |

YT 2000 Club Member | My vet does not give this shot, I did not need to worry at all of Jeter getting sick or dying from this shot, thank God! I think a sticky on vaccines would be great to have.
