annabelle's hair & skin I have a 6 year old tea-cup. Annabelle's has had skin and hair issues for around 3 months. I have had her vet run labs on her and all I get is nothing is wrong. She used to have floor length hair and it was beautiful. Now all she does is scratch and her hair is falling out. My groomer is besider herself. Annabelle is used to going to get her "beauty on" every other weekend but now with ehr hair loss there isnt any reason to go. I shampoo her twice a week with shampoo from our vet. Her body odor is terrible after two days. I am at a loss. If this sounds familiar, I would like to hear from you.:

just wondering why you are bathing her twice a week. i think that is far too often.. it will defeinitly dry her skin out... i try and go every two weeks if i can because Layla's skin is SO dry. To echo what Ellie May said, what are you feeding?

years ago I had a sheltie that contracted mange. He smelled bad and lost hair and itched really badly... we couldn't see it even with skin scrapes at the vet's. i took him to his breeder and she dipped him for mange twice and he got better almost immediately. i don't know how they'd do this for a tiny yorkie, but it really sounds like she might have that. good luck! deb
