| Update/Questions Franklin went in for his last set of shots today! I can't even explain how excited I am. Now we can go everywhere! I opted for NO LEPTO. My vet's office told me that Lepto WAS in our part of the state but I called around to some other vets and they told me they normally wouldn't vaccinate a small Yorkie for Lepto so we decided not to. If we (for some reason) need it in the future, there is no reason why we can't get it later. I did find out that the groomer I was previously going to requires Lepto so looks like we'll have to find a different groomer. We didn't have any problems with vaccinations last time but he threw up this time. I called the vet and they said he'd be fine as long as he didn't throw up again so I'm watching him. He's sleeping next to me on the couch as we speak. Do you guys think I should be concerned? He's grown so much! He weighed in at 6.5lbs at only 5 months! We've got a little teapot on our hands, but I wouldn't have it any other way. In my eyes, he's TINY and I still want him to get bigger. How do some of you do it? Here's my question. We're thinking about getting him neutered in a month, but I also want to wait and see if he needs any baby teeth extracted. Is it okay to wait until he's around 7-8 months?

| Throwing up once is fine as long as he is breathing okay and his gums are pink. He might be tired but make sure he can walk without looking drunk. You can neuter whenever. 7-8 months is fine but he may develop the desire to mark by then.
