| What should they be eating??? My yorkie is a little over 3 months old, and I still have the food her breeder gave us...but I definitely want to switch it (gradually of course). I've looked into holistic brands, and feel those may be the best. I'm stuck between Canidae and Blue (Buffalo). Has anyone used these brands? If so do you recommend one over the other...or do you recommend another one entirely. Thanks |

| I would feed Canidae way before BB. Wellness is my favorite right now though. My first recommendation is to homecook if possible.

| I homecook now-I like knowing exactly what I'm feeding my dogs. If you want help getting started, there are many YT'ers that home prepare food and were wonderful mentors to me as I began homecooking. If you're looking for a commercial food, Canidae and Blue Buffalo are both great foods. I used to feed Blue Buffalo to my dogs, and they did well on it. However, you may need to try different foods and find out what works best for you and for your dog. Most manufacturers will send you a free sample to try if you call or request one online-I know both Canidae and BB will send samples. You can then see how your dog likes it and research the ingredients in each of them before investing the money in a larger bag. www.canidae.com www.bluebuff.com

| I am feeding Canidae and Chicken Soup Puppy. I have tried Blue Buffalo and my dogs always prefer the Canidae. The Blue Buffalo is a bigger kibble also and I prefer feeding smaller kibble. |

| For a three month old puppy I would recommend Chicken Soup Puppy or Solid Gold Wee Bits. |
