| lecithin cause licking of paws ? i homecook for sammy and i use the healthy powder from dr pitcairns book. it calls for lecithin and i have been seeing sammy licking his front paws quite a bit. so what i have read in magazines ( sitting in barnes & noble ) is that they are linking lecithin to licking of paws. they must itch or somehow bother him. i took him off of the healthy powder , and give him half a performance centrum vitamin which he is doing fine on. does anyone have this problem or know anything about it ? should i make the healthy powder without the lecithin ? thanks everyone |

| Isn't that soy? I'm sure it could cause an allergy but have no idea what to replace it with.

| Most is soy lechithin...you may be able to find another type of lechithin at your health food store.

| I've been giving the healthy powder for many years, to mine and fosters. I've never seen one licking the paws though. I've heard that chicken can cause this too. Ya just never know! |
