| First time with a PUPPY Hi i have ponky he is 4 months old he is my first puppy and I live myself is my parents house in florida. We bought ponky and he was sick but now he is ok and crazy than ever! he run around the house everytime i put him out of the hall where the rooms are. I have him there with a children fance so he wont come out everytime i leave to school. i have his crate in there with his bed inside and his food, the crate is always open, i try to put him there whenever i can so we would get use for it. at first at night i use to close it but he wake me up at 5am to let him out so because he is a baby and cant hold it i decided to leave it open at least until he is 8 months and can hold it for 8 hours. but i dont know is that is bad.. he always sleep in the bed inside his crate so he goes inside for food too. well my problems are that he pees on the pads but for potty he goes really close like 2 inches away from the pads orrr in my moms carpet when i let him out of the hall... what can i do? lately i been noticing that he is eating his own poop and everything started when i took him outside for a walk and he ate some others dog poop and he started vomiting, i gave him milk and everything came to normal after he did it for 8 times in a row. He is fine now but i dont get why he is eating his now if that happen before with the other??? another thing is that i tape one of his ear cause it wasnt standing, after three days i took the tape out and his ear was all red so i didnt do it again and now the ear is going to the back and before to the front :S what should i do?? hope u guys can help.. im giving him eukanuba for small breed and puppy he likes it :S soo whats wrong? |

| I did alot of reading on crate training and you can find alot of help on line. You should not keep his food in his create what you should do is create a small living space for your puppy. His Crate and wee wee pad should not be to close to each other. About the poop near the wee wee pad is what Buzz till this day still does. He also ate his poop and I learned a few tricks for YT ppl always help here. Funny thing is Buzz had stopped eatting his poop but started up again dont know why. My buzz dropped both ears but im Loving them that way. The Vet told me its normal for them to drop they come back up. What is causing them to drop is the weight of the hair on the ear. Trim the hair to make it lighter. Google Crate training it will help you. and Be strong while pup is in the crate crying to get out lol.....
