| How much to feed? Currently I have my little 4 month old at about a 1/2 cup of food a day - but she's always hungry (I think?). She gobbles it up so much and so quickly. My one year old eats the same amount but slowly throughout the day. Is she being underfed? The feeding guideline on the bag (chicken soup) says she should be at 3/4- 1 3/4 cup per day but my vet said not to go by the bag, and that the food bags always want you to over feed. So how much is right? |

| If she is hungry, is not overweight and doesn't have worms than I would feed her when she is hungry. If she starts gaining too fast, then cut back. I would allow her to have 3/4 cup a day minimum. I can understand why your vet might say that but it is a generalization. I don't think it's true that every company does that.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i'd feed her a little more. since she is a puppy she needs more food then your 1 year old. try giving her 3/4 of a cup and she if that satisfies her.
