| Tattoos All that I'm hearing about missing yorkies has me worried. Molly will be getting spayed very soon and I'm considering a microchip, but what about tattoos? Many years ago we had bird dogs and had them tattooed and that actually helped a vet find us when one of them jumped our fence and was hit by a car -very sad- he had to be put to sleep, but at least my husband could be there with him. Anyway, do you tattoo? If so, what part of the body and what do you tattoo? My husband just had his initials in the dogs' ears. |

| Some breeder tatoo for identification purposes for AKC. The tatoo does not help that much if your dog is lost or stolen because the tatoo does not identify who the owner is like a microchip would. |
