| Teeth My yorkie is 2 yo and still has a baby tooth. He had both of his front baby fangs, but last month one fell out. My vet said due to his heart murmur I should leave them alone unless infected because drugging him to take them out is too risky. I noticed the side he lost the adult fang end is chipped off. Is that ok? Maybe thats the only reason the baby tooth came out. Maybe he fell it came out and he chipped his adult fang? Also he doesn't let me look at his teeth with out biting me (think baby tooth painful), so brushing is out. Are there any good dog bones or other ways to clean his teeth? Sorry so long, any suggestions/advice would be helpful. Thanks, Brady's mommy |

| I don't think the chipped adult fang will be a problems as long as it did not expose a nerve. The only thing I let my Yorkies chew on is cow ears. They are easy to digest and last a long time. You can get them at Petco individually, or a package of 10 at Petsmart. I would say he definitely needs something to chew on. |
