| Constant twitching and shaking of the head I have noticed Bijour doing something, so I thought it was his ears, I cleaned them even tho they were not dirty. I applied an ear drop from my vet, no change. He constantly shakes his head as if something is in his ears or in that area, I mean constantly. What could that be? I have only really noticed this about this past week. He did it before but not as often to have me questioning it now, he is also scratching like hell. I brushed him and looked for ticks and fleas, cant seem to locate anything. I brush out the puppy fur that he is changing as he is in the puppy uglies at the moment, still no change. What could this be? Seems like something is irritating him but I cant seem to locate anything unusual |

| problem Take him to the vet and have a check up. They can look deeep into the ear canal and see if it is mites or infection...and give him something to stop the scratching...sounds like the vet is your best option TODAY. |

He has had a complete checking two times in the past week. But I will go back again, this seems odd, I wonder if it from the mixed kibble? His ears were checked and are sound. I also wonder if it could be allergy to the many meds he is on? | |

| Please listen to YorkieRose and go to the vet. If they can't find anything then switch foods. What food is he on? Constant head shaking can cause an aural hematoma (blood blister in the ear). Surgery would be the most likely fix for this, so please catch the problem now and don't let it get that far...
