My Lil Man! Donating Member | im not sure...hopefully not..before i knew grapes/raisins were bad...my lil man used to lick some grape juice...i would eat grapes and squeeze a lil juice in my hand for him to lick up. But I didnt do it much or a lot and he doesnt get it at all anymore once I found about it which wasnt long after i did it...cause i was hoping to keep him from people food..ha! Lol. People food makes some of the best meals for them ive learned! Anyways...lol...hopefully just one wont hurt him! I wouldnt think it would. Give him a lil bite of bread. My mothers weenie dog used to get into hersheys kisses and eat aluminum foil and all and we would give her some bread to help her pass it and not get sick or have problems...dunno why but we did. lol. Goodluck! Keep us informed!! |

| 0.5 ounces per pound could hurt and that could be off by some. Nobody really knows. If it were mine and happened in the last half hour or so I would induce vomiting. Some dogs are totally unaffected by this toxicity though and some people would tell you not to worry.

| Eh, just one and he'll probably just have some loose stool, but just watch closely. If you notice shaking, vomiting, or lethargy, call your emergency vet. |

| How is everything? The big problem with grapes/raisins is that the minimum toxic dose isn't really known... I'm pretty sure one wouldn't hurt but then Yorkies are small, so you never know.

| Not trying to make light of the situation at all, but before I knew grapes were bad I would give Emma and Bentley 1/2 - 1 grape for treats and they were absolutely fine. But as always, check with your vet if you have any concern or notice anything strange. |

| Is it perxoide to induce?? I really think he is fine- he is a healthy pup- only had 1 raisin- and weighs 41/2-5lbs- he is acting ok Poor BF felt so bad!! They are play ball buddies! I am going to watch him for a while- but he is very busy right now- digging for a rock- on the brick on the floor in front of the fireplace! One of his missions in life! I hate to induce- he has only thrown up once- he ate fuzz!

I'm just going from the point of reference of what I would do with Ellie... Yes, it is 3% hydrogen peroxide. Raisins are less toxic than grapes, so just watch if you don't want to make him throw up.

| It could cause GI upset but the reason dogs shouldn't have them is because they can cause kidney damage. So if you're still worried, watch the urination. Glad he's doing well though.
