| Apples?? I've discovered that Gracie and the girls LOVE fresh apples!! I peel the skin off, core them and dice them up... they go NUTS for them!! Question is.... (and any sensible person would have asked this BEFORE giving the girls what they want JUST BECAUSE they WANT it, lol) but how good / bad are fresh apples for them? Any digestive problems? Of course, "everything in moderation" I know... but say maybe as a special treat a couple of times a week? Harmless? Thanks!

| Zoie and Cali both loves apples. And Cali is only 12 wks and she knows what apples are. She comes running and begging for them. Its funny its like they know without a sound when I sit down to eat an apple and here they are, waiting.

| apples? Tricksie loves apples, just tiny bites, guess I shouldn't give her any until I know she is over the bacterial infection. Oranges, have never given her any but she goes crazy when she sees us eating them.

| I had a thread on this a few weeks ago. I cut up an apple into 8 pieces, peel one slice and cut it up and give it to Max as a treat. He loves it (kinda like he loves EVERYTHING) and probably wishes he'd get more, but I just want to be careful about the sugar metabolism with him, so I give him a slice every day or every two days.

| Loves apples but... BE CAREFUL! We give Mysti, Mocha, and Mochiah (the M&M&Ms) a little apple every day. They LOVE apples! BUT.... Be careful. Apple seeds have arsenic in them, just a trace, but nevertheless not a good thing for the little yorkies. We cut off the edge of the slice with the seeds. |
