| Lets talk poo please! Moose has been on Innova adult food since he turned one. He was on Innova puppy before. He will be 17 months in a few weeks. Moose goes poo 2 to 3 times a day! Do you think this is a little much? I realize every furbutt (and human lol) is different, but I am wondering if I switch his food would he go less? And the main concern.....would it be ok for him to go less if he has normally gone more often during the day. I am just curious and would like opinions from all the YT experts.

| Two to three times maximum is fine. Four times seems a bit much. Usually (with some exceptions) the amount they poop is directly affected by how much waste is in their food that their body can't use. That may not be the case here though since it's Innova. Ellie poops once a day. She was on Royal Canin for a few weeks and seemed to go more.

| Chloe goes 2-3 times a day as well. Remember our little furbabies use every last drop of nutrition they can get! |

| Lacy goes once a day (she eats raw). My parent's yorkie, Rylie, goes twice a day - he eats Iams kibble (yes, i know but he's their dog )

| So, so far he seems to be in the "norm" of pooing! (except for the raw diet) I am not ready to go there yet!

On a side note.........I know you watch Rylie every so often, do you have to separate the two when you feed them since they have different food? Just curious.

| Lacy & my cats eat raw and they gobble it up so Rylie doesn't even get a chance to get any. I only put Rylie's kibble out when I'm home. I usually feed him in the morning when I feed mine raw, and he's pretty good about eating some right then. Then I take it up for the remainder of the day, until about 5:00 when I feed mine their evening meals. Then I put his food back down. I'll usually leave his food down for the rest of the evening, as long as I'm home & can make sure mine don't get into it. Mine don't really mess with his food, although occasionally Sophie (my youngest cat) will try to sneak over there...she's a pig!..but I always catch her. So, so far it hasn't been a problem.

| I had Chelsea was on the same & she wld go a few times a day Than I switched to beef liver, heart, tongue & lamb with rice or potatoes, carrots, pea, mix all together and now she only go once in the morning and that’s it. I got the understanding that if only going once she is absorbing all the nutrition, which is good. Chelsea will be 1yr next month. I’ve had her on the above for about 3 mo. & have had no problems as of yet.

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Diggy and Bella are on Merrick Pot Pie, and get homecooked once a day. They go anywhere from 3-4 times a day. Both of them that is. They are big healthy poops but i have noticed an increase in how much they are eating, and pooping. Tis the season? I dont get it.

| As long as he eats well and is thriving and happy, I would not switch foods. You could have some major problems doing that. Generally if the poop is normal, but they go three or four times a day, then your overfeeding. You could cut down a little and see how that works. |
