| Yorkies and snow im still a little new to this "having a dog" thing and i was wodering if it's okay to bring my yorkie to play in the snow? would it be too cold for him? would i have to dress him in a coat and boots? he seems to shiver at temps such as 40degrees and if i were to bring him to higher elevations where it maybe 10degrees, wouldnt that make him colder? please let me know if youre yorkie has experienced snow because i would really like to take my baby to play in the snow....

That said, as long his romps in the snow will be for short periods of time under your supervision, it's probably OK. If he refuses to move and can't stop shivering, put him in your coat. Don't let him shiver for long. As for clothes, yes, I'd get a fleece and or fleece/nylon parka for sure. I swear by booties, but it took me weeks of daily walks to get him to tolerate them. Unless you can pick up some for cheap, it's probably not worth it. He'll probably refuse to walk. | Selena and Minnie love the snow . My friend Andrea made them snowsuits and booties . At first , it was fun to see how they reacted to the booties , now they are ok . |

| Emma and Milli love the snow! I usually just put a sweater or a jacket on them, and let them out to play! They hate booties though, so if it's really cold, they only get out for a few minutes, and if it's below zero I keep them inside for the most part.

| Autumn and Blaze (especially Autumn) really LOVE the snow. Autumn will go outside and roll in it . Thankfully we have not had to much yet this winter!

| Tia loves the snow! She always wears either a sweater or a fleece+nylon coat. Also, buying good quality boots have been worth every penny....Tia won't go for a walk in the winter (at least not for more than 20 feet!) unless her feet are covered. I recommend Muttluks dog boots....just make sure to tie the velcro pretty tight.
