| She's STILL Eating her Poop! I STILL can't get Ariel to stop eating her poop. We tried giving her pineapple, For-bid ... then negative reinforcement ... it won't work! We try as much as possible to get rid of her poop immediately after she goes, but she's such a quick little stinker at times. I bought SEP last week, and it has been doing great until this morning. I woke up to lots of poop on her pad (she usually goes poop in the afternoon), so I didn't think she actually ate any. I guess she really missed the taste of poop because about an hour later, I hear her gag a little, and then vomit. TWICE. ALL POOP! Someone give me a solution please |

| I caught Toto 2 times last night trotting in some poopcicles. Like it's not that he doesn't get fed He eats like a little pig Next time I am going to put a muzzle on him (just kidding) So now all I say is "NO POOP IN THE HOUSE" or else. My kids never wanted to know "what else" was and so far neither does the dog. |

| I was once told by another vet that I once used to sprinkle meat tenderizer on their food and that they would not like the taste nor smell once they pooped and would stop eating it. It worked for my great dane!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | What are you feeding again? Sometimes switching food does the trick.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I was told they are do it. Well most dogs do. Sometimes they say if it continues that they are missing some nutrients. Maybe change foods with more nutrition. This may help! Good Luck!

| I have one dog that does this. This may not be an option for you, but once I started feeding raw, prey model, no more eating poop! Their stools are so small now cause their little bodies use up all the nutrients that I guess there's nothing fun left to eat. Other than that, I could never get her to stop eating it. I had just ordered some SEP and by the time it came, I didn't need it, so there it sits unopened. |

| Every now and then Chloe treats herself to a fine turd or two. She used to be really bad! She also has a habit of moving her poop around from one pee pad to the other. Dunno maybe an animal instinct to hide there tracks. |

| She was on Canidae All Life Stages, but I switched her over to Nature's Variety Raw about 2 weeks ago. This is the first time she's eaten her poop since the change...at least that I'm aware of, since she threw up the poop. |

| Lexie does this too!!! Beau sneeks in a poop or two probably a month but I need to watch Lexie like a hawk! If she poops, guarentee she will eat it! I can tell you this, it has gotten so bad my boyfriend and I NAMED their bad breath... we call it "Flaming Poop Breath". Ha ha. We should make a "Flaming Poop Breath Club"!! For all of those crazy yorkies who feel eating a fresh poop is the perfect reward for going potty in the right spot!

| I had hope I wouldn't still be in this category, but both Roxy and TJ are 3 years old now and they still have not stopped completely. I have tried EVERYTHING! Nothing worked for them. Now, the ONLY thing has worked, is that I have them on a good schedule. They eat in the AM and then poop, and I get to flush it. They eat in the PM and then poop, and I get to flush it. ...Now each time, we have such a party, Good Boy, Good Girl, Whew Who, Whistling, etc....And after they follow me to flush it, we race to the Kitchen to get a treat. This works so well, that TJ (smart little fellow) comes to get me to show me that he pooped. TJ will also come and get me when Roxy is in the box pooping. He wants his treat Unfortunately, there are times that 'someone' also has a mid afternoon poop, and since NO ONE is there to get it, they have a poop snack |
